As I stand here on the cusp of something new, I can’t help but reflect on all the light that brought me to this view.
Don’t be mistaken, within all of the light there has been great darkness and difficulty. Obstacles and struggles I thought I would crush me.
Yet each failure has led to learning and each hard season has brought forth pruning.
This is another opportunity for homecoming, a fresh start into the unknown knowing I have never been alone.
I hear a call to let go of shame, condemnation, and striving. Let go of all the doubt and questioning, and step into thriving.
Because this present moment is where the infinite and finite meet, love indescribable fills from my head to my feet, laughing and rejoicing, resting and remembering that He who made the galaxies and universe saw fit to form me into who I’m meant to be.
It’s no accident I’m here and it’s no mistake that our lives meet. May we all learn to hold space for what has been and what will be. Living in this present moment full of the wonder of life. Moving forward with curiosity, reverence and awe for the gift of life.
Grace for each other to enjoy being while still very much becoming.
We don’t have it all figured out, but maybe that’s the point. Maybe we are meant to lean into the mystery and believe in mercy to anoint.
May we contemplate the connection between providence and serendipity. Where the divine and surprise collide, alive and very free.
